RAD Ballet ProgressionsThis is a new and exciting introduction to our Ballet Curriculum. Taught by Ms Analiesa Kreutz, the Progression Program trains students in the RAD Graded Syllabus at a level and pace most suited to their needs and time constraints. Unlike our RAD Exam Program which requires students to take at least two RAD classes per week, the Progressions only requires them to take one class per week.
Students will be introduced to a series of exercises to help develop strength, flexibility and technique through Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) based exercises. Students will also learn training exercises from the RAD syllabus, breaking down each movement and giving students a better understanding of the essence and technical requirements. At Progressions Level 3, students will be introduced to Pre-Pointe work. The levels for Progressions are as follows: RAD Progressions L1 (RAD Grade 1-2 level) RAD Progressions L2 (RAD Grade 3-4 level) RAD Progressions L3 (RAD Grade 5-6 level) The Progression Program is ideal for the following:
