Hanedy Sala
Hanedy Sala started dancing at the age of 5 at the Cultural Center of the Philippines Dance School (CCPDS), the professional training ground of Ballet Philippines, the country’s premier dance company. With her strong, fine technique and hard work, she was then granted an apprenticeship in 2000. Hanedy joined various productions of the company as one of the Corpse de Ballet and has professionally worked with local and internationally acclaimed dancers, musicians and choreographers.
In April 2003, Hanedy became a Company Member of Ballet Philippines and as a result of her consistently fine performances and professionalism, she became a Soloist in 2004 and was featured in significant works by James Laforteza, Enrico Labayen, Agnes Locsin, Tony Fabella and Alden Lugnasin, which earned her credits as a dancer.
She moved to Hong Kong in December 2007 and worked as a Parade Performer in Hong Kong Disneyland.
She joined Red Shoe Dance Company in January 2013.
In 2014, Hanedy successfully graduated at Teacher’s Training School in Vaughn, Ontario Canada under ADAPT founders Mr. And Mrs. Brian and Faye Foley and became a recognised as Certified ADAPT Teacher.
