The Dang Musical Theatre Syllabus Program is designed by an experienced team of teachers and professionals who recognise the need for innovative, up-to-date and industry-ready progressive training. 
The Syllabus is available to students aged 5 - 16 years old who have a passion for singing, dancing and acting. Students will acquire the skills to become confident, well rounded triple threat performers through dance choreography, singing and acting, creating an environment where they can freely and safely express themselves and learn more about the world of theatre. 

Specific Goals:
  • To promote awareness of the qualities required for musical theatre
  • To encourage the good quality and thoughtful delivery of the syllabus to students
  • To offer a safe and progressive pathway for students to acquire the skills and standard to become a triple threat performer
  • To lead students through a systematic training programme in preparation for full time Musical Theatre vocational training /professional employment
  • To inspire intellectual thinking and a deeper understanding of materials required for musical theatre
  • To combine the core elements of musical theatre into an integrated performance
  • To learn and progressively improve technical skills in voice, dance and acting
  • To convey the intention of musical theatre material in a performance
Singing
  • Vocal training (pitch, tonality, breathing
  • Singing harmonies in an ensemble group.
  • Interpreting a character through song.
  • Repertoire for auditions/performances.​​
Dancing
  • Training in different theatre dance styles.
  • Character dance.
  • Dance technique.
  • Dance repertoire. ​​
Acting
  • Character development.
  • Character Analysis.
  • Improvisation exercises.
  • Breaking down the styles of acting for different types of theatre.​
