From Ontario, Canada, Jeremy has had 11 years competitive training in Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Contemporary and Musical Theatre. He is a graduate of the Music Theatre Performance Program at St. Lawrence College. Since graduating in 2015, Jeremy has choreographed, taught and performed across Canada and parts of Asia.
As a choreographer, Jeremy has worked on three Dance Day Extravaganzas at SLC, Feels Like Home (Start Here Theatre Productions), Once Upon a Grimm (SLC Stage), New Faces 2013 (SLC Stage), and Show Choir Canada Nationals. In addition, he has done competition choreography for Spectrum City Dance (Prince Rupert, BC), The Burlington Dance Company (Burlington, ON), BOLDT (Brockville, ON) and Stages School of Dance (Golden, BC). His teaching experience includes Capital City Dance (Ottawa, ON) and Stages School of Dance, as well as workshops at Broadway Dance Academy, Delia School of Canada, Stagecraft Children’s Theatre Company, Spectrum City Dance, Betrice-Desloges Secondary School, Thousand Islands Secondary School, and BOLDT Dance Studio. Previous to SLC, Jeremy trained in RAD and ADAPT for eight years at Leeming Danceworks in Ottawa.
As a performer, Jeremy has appeared in Legally Blonde (KiKi), Crazy For You (Moose), Once Upon a Grimm (Tom Thumb), Feels Like Home, Les Misérables (Combeferre), Anything Goes (Sailor), 42nd Street, New Faces 2013, and West Side Story (Bernardo).
Jeremy graduated ADAPT Teacher's Training School in 2018. He was the first and is currently the only ADAPT certified male teacher based in Asia.
Jeremy joins Red Shoe Dance Company full-time this August 2017, following his recent visit to Hong Kong with ADAPT founders and examiners, Mr. Brian Foley and Faye Foley, who have been mentors of his from a young age. Jeremy will teach ADAPT Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, Contemporary and Musical Theatre.
