Iris Tsoi CSTD, ATCL
Iris Tsoi is a freelance performer and teacher currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in the Education University of Hong Kong, majoring in both English Studies and English Education. Her passion towards performing was cultivated from a young age and is determined to pursue her career in both performing and creative education. She is a certified tap teacher from the Commonwealth Society of Teachers of Dancing (CSTD, Australia) and a qualified singing teacher, who holds a certification in the Associate of Trinity College London (ATCL) Recital Singing Level 4 Diploma. Iris has vast experience in performing, teaching and choreographing. She has participated and choreographed in the annual Hong Kong Tap Festivals from 2010-2014 and 2016-2019. In 2015, she participated in a tap training and performance intensive co-organized by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council and a local tap and drama production《小露寶智擒小魔星》by Rhythm and Tempo (R&T). Iris also engages actively in musical productions. After joining HKAPA EXCEL summer musical school《Broadway Here I Come》and《Hairspray》by Hong Kong Opera House in 2015, Iris has been participating actively in the summer and easter performances in HKIA organized by HKAPA EXCEL. Through education, Iris hopes to inspire young individuals with creativity and independence as well as to nurture children with confidence in performing arts.
