Giselle Liu
Giselle Liu was raised in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada where she began dance training at the age of three. From those early beginnings, Giselle has explored many forms of dance including jazz, hip hop, modern, lyrical, ballet, contemporary, and Chinese dance. Her awards include the title of Canadian Dancer of the Year 2004, as well as a Senior British Columbia Provincial Winner for Modern Dance. Her passions encompass performing, choreography and dance education. Giselle has worked in the film industry, completing a picture with Saturday Night Live alumni Chris Ketan entitled, “Totally Awesome.” Her goals are to continue with teaching, choreography and performing while exploring projects internationally. Giselle recently completed her Bachelor of Arts degree for dance at the University of Calgary (2008). She joins Red Shoe Dance Company in September 2008.
