Angela Shiu-Lewis
Angela Shiu-Lewis grew up in Hong Kong and began her dance
training at Jean M Wong School of Ballet (Hong Kong) before travelling the
world to continue and diversify her training at some of the world's best dance
institutions including the Broadway Dance Center (New York), Peridance
International Dance School (New York), Stanley Holden Dance Center (Los
Angeles, California), Bella Kovarsky School of Dance (Toronto, Canada), Beijing
Dance Academy (Beijing, China), and Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts (Hong
Kong). In 2000, she moved to Saudi Arabia and became the Founder and Director
of Dancerabia (Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia) creating an after-school dance program
at the American School of Dubai, and establishing herself as a teacher and
choreographer of classical ballet and jazz dance. In 2006, she became a
registered teacher with the Royal Academy of Dance (London, UK) before moving
to Hong Kong with her husband and 3 children. She joined Red Shoe Dance Company
in May 2008.
