Giselle Liu
Giselle was raised in Prince Rupert, British Columbia, Canada.
Giselle’s passion for movement and choreography correlate with her love of teaching. She completed a BA of dance at the University of Calgary and believes a continuing education in the art of dance only enhances her love for it. Throughout 22 years of training she has explored many forms of dance including: contemporary, jazz, ballet, hip hop, musical theatre, Chinese dance, lion dance, social dance, rumba, salsa, meringue, cha cha cha, Afro-Cuban and West African dance. Liu is a certified CDTA Jazz Instructor and also a certified NASM Personal Trainer, Boot Camp, Core Stability Level 1 and Jakuri instructor. Giselle’s achievements include Canadian Dancer of the Year, Provincial Champion of Modern dance, film and professional company work, international choreographer, competitor, performer and teacher. Positive energy and knowledge permeate her classes as she truly believes that everyone can learn to dance. She joined Red Shoe Dance Company in September 2008. |
