Elena began her ballet training at the Saratov Choreographic School in Russia, majoring in Choreographic Art. She then went on to study at the Moscow State University of Arts & Culture for 6 years, qualifying as a teacher and choreographer and majoring in Ballet Pedagogy.
During her studies, from 2009-2011, Elena performed with Ballet Theatre Russia as a professional ballerina, touring much of Europe. Then in 2011, Elena was promoted to soloist, and toured with the Russian National Ballet Theatre, performing lead roles from Swan Lake, Sleeping Beauty, Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, Don Quixote, Coppelia, Giselle and Paquita.
With choreography and teaching being her No.1 passion, Elena moved to Italy and began teaching Classical Ballet to children aged 3-18 years old, before eventually settling in Hong Kong in 2015.
Elena joins Red Shoe Dance Company this August 2017, teaching Russian Ballet to both children and adults.
