Body Conditioning & PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique)
Our Body Conditioning /PBT classes assist in the development of safe dance practice, training the muscle memory in achieving a personal best and maintaining the optimal physical condition in dance. The focus is on developing Ballet aesthetics, good posture and lean muscles.
Sometimes, it is difficult for students to feel what muscles initiate the correct alignment in dance training. Using the most up-to-date techniques, students develop better posture and weight placement whilst feeling each correct muscle groups. Specific exercises will train the core muscles, intrinsic foot strength, port de bras, proper body alignment, flexibility and so much more. The goal is for students to be able to feel stronger, confident and have a better understanding of how the muscles work when they are dancing.

Tools used:
- A fit/Swiss ball for the required size for your height.
- Small ball (Lacrosse ball) 8”or 21cm in circumference.
- Medium soft ball 22”or 54cm in circumference
- Resistance band 9 feet/2.7 metres in length, 6”/ 15 cm wide medium strength.
- Pilates mat
