Ben has been dancing for over 15 years, earning his first 'Best Dancer' award at the age of 17. Both an outstanding performer and choreographer, Ben won the world's first Hollaback Crew Dance Competition in Singapore and went on to lead his 17-member team on tour throughout Asia and Europe for the Singapore Tourism Board. He has performed as lead dancer at several live music concerts and continues to perform and conduct workshops for live events and television throughout Asia.  He joined Red Shoe Dance Company in October 2007 as a freelance hip hop dance teacher.
