Jacqui Roberts founded Red Shoe Dance Company in 2005.
Her mission was to make dance more accessible to young children and teenagers by introducing popular modern dance classes to the activity programs within various ESF and International Schools throughout Hong Kong. Since then it has grown and with the opening of it's very own Red Shoe Dance Studios in August 2011, Red Shoe Dance has become one of the most popular dance schools in Hong Kong for quality dance tuition.
Students can choose from a variety of dance styles; from Ballet, Jazz, Street Dance and Hip-Hop to Contemporary, Lyrical, and Musical Theater. In addition, RAD Ballet and ADAPT Jazz Examination Syllabus classes are offered to students who wish to strengthen their technique and advance to a much higher level. No matter what style students choose, they will learn techniques that improve posture, flexibility, co-ordination, concentration, and build strength and confidence.
Students are given many opportunities to perform at regular events throughout the year and are encouraged to participate in many of the community arts projects which take place in Hong Kong.
Students are welcome to take a trial class prior to enrollment. Please contact our office first to check availability and arrangement.
